MOHN® GmbH: Innovative "Hygienic Design" washbasin

At the heart of the general hygiene requirements is personal hygiene, which among other things determines the overall condition of the food. Thus, the demand that people who handle food, have to maintain a high degree of personal cleanliness justified. In accordance with the conditions of operation, the raw material properties and the product requirements as well as the hygiene-relevant conditions in the production process, in particular measures in the field of hand cleaning are to be defined.

MOHN® as an innovative system provider in the field of hygiene technology for the food industry and pharmaceuticals presents exclusively on the Anuga FoodTec 2018 in Cologne a new hand basin in "Hygienic Design" with rounded inside corners (R20). In terms of design, welding seams or joints as well as straight surfaces were dispensed with, taking into account "Hygienic Design". At the same time, this means fewer bacteria attack surfaces as well as no shelves.

For the non-contact request of the water, the palm is simply held under the sensor-controlled water tap in the "Hygienic Design".

In addition, the innovation from Mohn has much more serviceability. In conventional sinks on the market, these must be time-consuming and costly dismantled from the wall because the sensor located in the rear wall is defective or the sensor is firmly connected to a cable. With the new hygiene basin by Mohn this is no longer necessary to change all spare parts! All spare parts are easily accessible. The sensor integrated in the outlet tap can be easily removed from the front in the event of a defect or for maintenance purposes (range control).

The hygiene basin is optionally available with the tried and tested flushing function to prevent legionella contamination by means of the Siemens Logo control, which reduces possible stagnation times of the drinking water in the pipe systems. With the logo control, even customer-specific washing programs can be programmed and there is the option of coupling the washbasin with other hygiene facilities within a staff hygiene lock, e.g. for displaying a compulsory sequence. A wall spacer is also optionally available for better cleaning options behind the washbasin.
