Online seminar "Animal welfare-friendly stunning and stunning control"

On August 30.08.2022, 13, the QS Academy will hold two seminars on animal welfare-friendly stunning and stunning control - from 00:15 p.m. to 00:16 p.m. for cattle and pigs and from 00:18 p.m. to 00:2 p.m. with a focus on poultry. The speaker Dr. Martin von Wenzlawowicz, specialist veterinarian for animal welfare, goes into the role of animal welfare in stunning: from different methods to control to ensuring animal welfare-friendly stunning or stunning. The online seminars are aimed at animal welfare officers in slaughterhouses, entrepreneurs, slaughterhouse employees and veterinarians. Auditors can also benefit from attending these seminars. The online seminars serve as proof of the advanced training required for the animal welfare officer in the QS scheme. For both events, 10 hours were requested from the academy for veterinary training according to § XNUMX of the ATF statutes.
