Award for long-term product quality

Schwandorf, July 2023. The Food Test Center of the DLG (German Agricultural Society) awarded a total of 46 GOLD medals to the food manufacturer Wolf this year. In addition to the annual award for product quality, this time the WOLF group of companies received the “Award for long-term product quality” for the Schwandorf, Nuremberg and Schmölln locations. This award honors uninterrupted success, as at least three products were able to convince in the test five years in a row.

“This year we have again received awards in various product areas. This shows that we have a high level of quality across our entire range. We are more than satisfied with this result," says Managing Director Christian Wolf. The DLG awarded prizes to 18 products in the Thuringian specialties category and 19 in the Bavarian specialties category, as well as 4 items in the Nuremberg specialties category. In addition, the DLG awarded 5 medals for convenience products.

For more than 135 years, the DLG has been offering companies in the food industry the opportunity to have their products examined by experts. If the test criteria are met, bronze, silver or gold medals are awarded.
