New scientific studies are published every day that show how much vitamin D can. It is one of the keys to our health! It protects the heart and vessels, it prevents and fights cancer, helps us against diabetes, infectious and autoimmune diseases, brain and muscle to protect. Millions have spent their lives in sunlight people. But our lives will take place indoors. The terrible news is: Almost the entire population is chronically undersupplied, thus increasing their risk dramatically for virtually all diseases of civilization.

The sun vitamin does indeed lead a shadowy existence, and which we have inflicted on our modern lifestyle itself.

My comment

A book, as I expect from Dr. Nicolai Worm: researched extensively engages Worm one health relevant subject intelligible to. With its vitamin D - hypothesis he shows from the scientific mainstream ways to better health care by simple means to: Sun in the lighter half and supplementation with vitamin D in the other half can do amazing things.

The foreword

But let us leave but Dr. Worm himself to speak. In the preface to the book he writes:

It is exactly ten years since I wrote a book on the subject of diet and lifestyle and lifestyle diseases. My publisher called it then "Syndrome X or A mammoth on the plate!". Although the title was not my favorite, but it happens to be an author. »Mammut instead Müesli" I would have liked better. In 2009 the study of vitamin D thesis lies no longer in its infancy. Today we know much more, and we can intervene much safer preventive and therapeutic. The issue has become in recent years in scientific journalism at an astonishing rate in the foreground. The numerous health benefits by sufficient sunlight and adequate vitamin D intake are now documented at a high level. In Germany especially the lecturer Dr. Stephan Scharla from Bad Reichenhall and Dr. Armin Zittermann from Bad Oeynhausen who rendered outstanding services for a long time. More recently it was also Prof. Winfried in March from Heidelberg and his colleagues at the University of Graz in Austria Doktores Stefan Pilz and Harald Dobnig. In Switzerland, especially Professor Bischoff-Ferrari has brought in Zurich in recent years with your research the issue forward.
