Keep clothes germ-free

Air disinfection using ultraviolet light has been used successfully in various areas for around 40 years. Microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, yeasts or fungi are killed in seconds by UV radiation. Hospitals and doctors, for example, benefit from this, but UV light is also used in offices or air conditioning systems.

Store clothes and disinfect with ultraviolet light
Mohn GmbH from Meinerzhagen in the Sauerland has made use of this tried and tested technology in order to be able to offer an innovative storage space solution that meets the requirements of a work environment with strict hygiene guidelines. The UV-C cloakroom not only offers enough space to store work and private clothing, but also allows the inside of the wardrobe and a large part of the clothing surface to be disinfected thanks to the integrated disinfection lamps - wherever the radiation reaches them.

So far, all tested microorganisms, bacteria and viruses (including various corona viruses) react to exposure to UV-C light. Due to the photolytic effect on their DNA, they cannot replicate.

If the radiation intensity is sufficiently high, UV disinfection is a reliable and environmentally friendly method. The use of toxic chemicals is avoided and microorganisms cannot develop any resistance to UV rays.
