BRAIN2 Global_Shipping enables parcel labels to be automatically printed in the current label layout of the shipping service provider and guarantees a fast, efficient and reliable flow of data throughout the entire shipping process. BRAIN2 Global_Shipping is a new module of the proven industrial software platform BRAIN2. Efficient intralogistics
The BRAIN2 Global_Shipping solution, as part of the BRAIN2 industrial software, is future-proof, scalable automation and digitization software that enables smooth shipping processes. The BRAIN2 Global_Shipping software module increases reliability and efficiency at an advanced pace in shipping logistics. BRAIN2 Global_Shipping makes it possible to generate parcel labels in the current label layout of the shipping service provider via a web interface and to print them out automatically. This allows faster and more secure processes without any updates or approvals. The software module supports shipping service providers such as UPS, GLS and the Bizerba premium partners Deutsche Post and DHL. BRAIN2 Global_Shipping combines all major shipping service providers in one system and in this way makes it possible to handle all shipping tasks quickly and easily.
Once the shipment is complete, BRAIN2 Global_Shipping autonomously communicates the relevant data, such as the package number, weight and time of shipment, to a higher-level ERP system. The data transfer takes place securely, for example via a file interface or asynchronous Apache Kafka®Data server. With BRAIN2 Global_Shipping, individual forms of communication can be implemented and the entire shipping system can be managed and controlled. In addition, a web-based client enables updates to be installed from the back office in a time-saving manner on all PC workstations. BRAIN2 Global_Shipping also scores with a clear and user-friendly user interface in which all relevant control elements and information are clearly visible to the user. The use is simple and intuitive, as no unnecessary content complicates the view of the essentials and instead of long text modules, an easy-to-understand symbolic language is used.
Expansion of the logistics portfolio
In addition to BRAIN2 Global_Shipping, Bizerba is further expanding its comprehensive solution portfolio through synergetic partnerships. The innovation driver from Baden-Württemberg recently announced a new volume measurement system that will be launched on the market in cooperation with Metrilus, a provider of 3D camera-based solutions for master data collection and freight measurement. In this, Bizerba and Metrilus combine their leading weighing and computer vision expertise into a holistic and fully integrated complete system for volume and weight measurement.
