The website provides the answers www.lohnspiegel.de with information on wages and salaries actually paid. This is a non-commercial and free information service that is maintained by the WSI tariff archive in the Hans Böckler Foundation. In its now updated and expanded version, the wage mirror offers information on effective monthly wages in 250 activities from around 30 occupational areas:

The salary level provides information on the incomes of men and women in each occupation. It quantifies the income differences according to professional experience and company size as well as between West and East Germany.

The current version is based on the evaluation of some 76.000 questionnaires.

The website offers numerous other information about wages and salaries, such as a database that informs about collectively agreed remuneration. A gross net calculator shows what is left at the end of wages and salaries.

The questionnaire is available online www.lohnspiegel.de is available for storage, management and analysis.

Among the participants filling out the questionnaire this year, a two-week trip will be raffled in South Africa.

The website www.frauenlohnspiegel.de offers a comparable offer with special information, tips and links on the subject of "women and work". The wage mirror is part of an international project that is running in several European and non-European countries. In Germany, the wage mirror is supported by the DGB and its trade unions. There are media partnerships with various online portals.
