evenord will not take place in 2022
Evenord eG, organizer of the evenord trade fair, has decided not to hold the innovation fair for butchery and gastronomy this year. The 52nd edition of evenord will not take place on the NürnbergMesse site from October 8 to 9, 2022 as planned. The next date for the popular industry meeting is in autumn 2023.
The Evenord eG has decided to organize this. The reasons for this are the ongoing effects of the corona pandemic, the sharp rise in raw material prices and increasing supply problems in the industry, as well as the uncertain macroeconomic situation. Christian Tschulik, Andreas Iser-Hirt and Martin Holch, board members of Evenord eG, did not take this step lightly: "Our goal is to always create a special experience for all exhibitors and visitors - this is what evenord has stood for for more than 50 years. It is southern Germany's largest meeting place for butchers and restaurateurs, a trade fair for networking and discovery, and at the same time a festival for the whole family. As organizers, we see this promise in jeopardy for this year given the currently difficult general conditions in our industry. We are therefore looking to the future with optimism and are starting to make targeted preparations for seeing us again at our innovation fair in autumn 2023.”
