Wolf is top brand 2023
For the sixth time, the Wolf company has received the title "Top Brand" and this year for the first time can look forward to an award in the category "Boiled Sausage (without poultry)" - Wolf is therefore one of the 2023 most successful brands in Germany in 100. With the award, Lebensmittel Zeitung honors brands that have been able to increase their market share the most compared to the previous year - with positive sales development and at least the same number of buyers. A total of 5.000 product brands are examined here and checked for sustainable brand management. Managing Director Christian Wolf is delighted with the award: “Being a top brand again in 2023 makes me very proud. The award proves that we make the right decisions and that consumers appreciate our products. A big thank you to Lebensmittel Zeitung for the commitment and the title”.
“Boiled sausage” is already the third category in which the company has scored over the past eight years. The "Bratwurst" category, in which Wolf has already been voted the top brand four times, has received particular attention. With the diverse Wolf range, however, the company with production sites in Nuremberg, Schwandorf and Schmölln meets different tastes: blood sausage, red sausage, liver sausage and tongue sausage from Wolf now bear the title Top Brand 2023 and show how important regionality and tradition are to consumers in product selection. Because the boiled sausage products that particularly stood out in the category are all Thuringian specialties.

In recent years, the company, headquartered in Schwandorf, has developed into an important food manufacturer. In Nuremberg, Wolf invested in a new plant for its convenience range under the Forster brand with products for the catering trade and for quick meals at home. With an annual turnover of around 320 million euros, the group of companies is an important economic factor and major employer in the regions around Schwandorf, Nuremberg and Schmölln in Thuringia.
