Silver medal for Franz Prostmeier in the butcher discipline

Congratulations, vice-European champions! Franz Prostmeier (stuhlberger butcher shop) caught up the silver medal for Germany at the 8th European Championships “Euroskills 2023” in Gdansk. The event stands for the promotion of vocational education and skills at a European level. The butcher profession was only recognized two years ago, alongside 43 other professions. They won gold in “Discipline 32 – Butcher”. Swiss Ariane Aeschlimann, Bronze for Frenchman Gauthier Détrés. 

The participation of the German National Skills Team in EuroSkills takes place in cooperation with WorldSkills Germany and the Central Association of German Crafts as well as the specialist associations and business partners.

Six nations competed. To all the winners: Congratulations!
