Handtmann forming system FS 503 in conjunction with VF 800 vacuum filler for a variety of 3D shapes, also flattened

New FS 503 forming system for chain stores and the medium performance segment: With the new, single-lane FS 503 forming system, Handtmann offers chain stores as well as medium-sized and industrial companies a production solution that combines diversity with high cost-effectiveness. In combination with a Handtmann vacuum filler, the fully automatic production of a wide variety of products in 3D form is possible. A variety of raw materials such as meat, meat substitutes and fish and fish substitutes, vegetables and vegan-vegetarian products, hybrid products made from meat/vegetables or meat/cheese, convenience products, dough applications, confectionery, dairy products or pet food can be flexibly processed and shaped.

The gentle portioning and shaping process with minimized friction surfaces, short product path and low temperature input ensures consistently optimal product quality. A wide variety of products with starting materials in a wide variety of consistencies are reliably perfectly portioned, shaped and transferred to the conveyor belt. The gentle portioning process using the vane cell conveyor in the Handtmann vacuum filler ensures optimal quality for all products in a wide variety of consistencies, whether soft, pasty, solid, sensitive or lumpy. The result is a consistently appealing product appearance and in the production of vegetable products, for example, the desired lumpy product structure is retained.

The patented 3-hole plate forming technology can be used to produce freely shaped 3D products with a diameter of up to 100 mm. Almost all 3D product shapes and geometries are possible. Optionally, a height-adjustable flattening belt can be used for flattened products with a product height of 10 – 55 mm, such as burgers and patties. Examples of products that are possible with the new molding system include handmade hamburgers, cevapcici, meatballs, balls or, in the case of vegetarian products, vegetable burgers, cheese burgers or potato burgers. Dumplings of all kinds are possible, such as potato dumplings, bread dumplings and vegetable dumplings or soup additions from sausage meat dumplings to semolina dumplings and liver dumplings. Fish products can also be produced in a wide variety, such as fish balls, fish dumplings, fish burgers or fish cakes. But semolina dumplings, marzipan balls and other doughs and desserts are also optimally shaped. Product changes are quick and easy. This makes it possible to produce a wide variety of products economically.  

The new FS 503 forming system is characterized by a high production output of up to 150 portions per minute. Weights per product that are accurate to the gram also ensure cost-optimized production. Easy operation and cleaning round off the new mold solution.
